Note 1:
the fuel flow increased by +15 pph and the ITT by +35°C.
This change happened simultaneously with a compressor
recovery wash.
We immediately contacted the operator and recommended
the following:
|
· |
Before next flight
perform a power assurance check to verify that the
engine produces sufficient power required for takeoff.
|
We then recommended the following to be done ASAP:
| · |
With reconsideration
to the compressor recovery wash, please check that
the P3 bleed air hose is connected, and that there
is no bleed air leaks from the hoses and tubing´s. |
| · |
That the P3 filter cup is tight. |
| · |
That the compressor bleed valves
are closing at the correct settings and stays completely
closed during high power. |
The operator found that that the P3 bleed air hose for
this engine had not been reconnected after the compressor
recovery wash was carried out.
Note 2: The P3 bleed air hose was reconnected
subsequently all parameters returned to baseline values.
